Shipping
If you order products that are in stock we strive to process your order within a week. If it’s not in stock or made to order, the manufacturing process will begin after payment is received. Please note that all of our “made to order” have a processing time of up to three weeks. Once the product is finished we will ship the order.

Your order will be shipped  to you from the Netherlands via a secure, tracked shipping method. There might also be an option for untracked shipping, but this can only be applied to specific products. Non-EU countries do not pay VAT, so for orders placed outside of the EU, this amount will be deducted from the purchase price at check-out.

Customs
Customs fees, tariffs or duties are not included in the pricing.
Orders shipped to non-EU countries could be charged with customs fees upon arrival. Unfortunately, we cannot predict the extent of these costs, which are your responsibility. Please consult the local customs office to determine the amount of duties and taxes that will be charged on your package.

What if I refuse delivery?
Refused packages—and those that are not received due to negligence on the part of the recipient—are refunded once received by us, less the cost of shipping to and from the destination country, as well as any applicable duties and taxes.

Returns
We hope that you love your Céliea products(s) as much as we do. However, if for any reason you wish to return any or all products within your order, you have fourteen (14) days after the order has been delivered to do so. We will gladly issue a refund if the return conditions (noted below) have been met.

Please note that products must be returned unused, undamaged and in their original jewelry box. 

Please note that we do not accept returns on hygiene products such as earrings. We also do not accept returns on:

  • Custom or personalized orders
  • Items on sale
  • Gift Vouchers

Please make sure you choose an appropriate cardboard shipping box for your return to prevent the content(s) from being damaged while in transit.   Please arrange a return shipment using a carrier of your choice. We apologize – you must bear the return shipping costs, which are nonrefundable.

Jewelry care

We want you to enjoy your jewelry pieces as long as possible, so we made a jewelry care guide for you which you can follow to ensure that you are taking proper care of your jewelry. All our jewelry pieces are made with gold-filled, rose gold-filled and 925 sterling silver materials. Which are high quality materials which will last you a long time if taken proper care of it.

Jewelry care

  • Store your jewelry away from direct sunlight, this might change the color of resin overtime and fade the flower colors.
  • Take your jewelry off when:Applying lotion, perfume, hairspray or other beauty products, when showering or swimming due to soaps and chemicals,  go for a swim any sort of physical activity and also when sleeping. Our delicate metals can be bent easily if not taken good care of.
  • Sometimes the PH levels in your skin can affect the colour of the gold. PH levels vary in individuals. This is not considered a fault of Céliea products and does not warrant a refund or return.
  • Avoid exposing your jewelry to harsh chemicals and cleaning products. This includes perfume, hair spray, cleaning solutions, nail polish remover, antibacterial hand sanitizer etc. Solvents will react with the epoxy and cause it to become scaly, yellow, chip or break down completely.
  • Try to avoid bumping and scratching or sleeping in your resin jewelry. This could damage your jewelry piece. Sometimes a damp microfibre or silk cloth will polish your piece nicely or you can use plastic polish.

Process

The process
The first thing I’d like to do is collect suitable flowers outside. Once I’ve gathered enough of them I head back and begin the selection process. This ensures that only the most beautiful flowers will be incorporated into our jewelry.
After a flower is picked it quickly starts to wilt. To negate this, the flowers must be dried as soon as possible after they’ve been separated from their roots. To achieve this I utilize a technique known as press and preserve. There are others ways to dry flowers, but I generally prefer to press the moist out the flowers by applying pressure with my self-made presser. Once filled with flowers, the presser is tightened and stored in a dry place for two to three weeks, depending on the type of flower that is being dehydrated.
After the allotted time has passed the flowers are completely dried up. This means the flowers are ready to become a part of the jewelry. The jewelry frames are then filled with flowers, resin, and sometimes even 24 karat gold flakes for that extra sparkle. The resin is poured in a number of layers coherent with the design and depth of the frame.
After the resin is fully cured, a necklace chain is attached to the frame either by drilling a small hole in the resin or by attaching it with an open jump ring. Also, some delicate pieces are hand wrapped to give it a more romantic feel. If all of this is done, the jewelry is now finished and can be packed and shipped after a few pictures are taken.
